If you could spend one year…

  1. If you could spend one year in perfect happiness but afterward would remember nothing of the experience would you do so?  If not, why not?

A year of bliss sounds delightful but if I couldn’t remember it, I don’t think I would do it.  If it means living with the false regret that I did not do something in which I actually did, it would be a waste of time and cause unnecessary heartache.  If you had degenerative brain function (like in old age), I could understand you taking the opposite stance because if you are going to forget anyway, live it up for a year, however even in that circumstance, you don’t go in with the intention of forgetting what you did during that perfect year; it just happens.
